Is a power of attorney null and void after a divorce?

Question by Melissa E: Is a power of attorney null and void after a divorce?
My ex spouse will not return my durable power of attorney. We are divorced. The divorce decree did not specifically mention the poa but I have asked for it back. What can I do?
