No. It was illegal at the time you possessed it, and you knew that.

When marijuana is legal what will happen to drug testing for pot?

Question by ScooterScoot: When marijuana is legal what will happen to drug testing for pot?
By that I mean, when marijuana becomes legal ( hopefully it will be legal in all 50 states…) if you show positive for THC in your system will you still not be eligible to work somewhere? Every time you are drug tested and it comes up with THC+ you do not pass.

How will legalizing marijuana change this?
Or will it change it at all?
Can I still get a job in my state if marijuana is legal and I show up with it in my system on a drug test?

No, if it is legal they can’t test for something that is allowed by state
